MoveIn - The Prayer Journey 2020 (Scarborough)

Please join us on Saturday, June 13 for MoveIn's The Prayer Journey.

It is a yearly multi-site event where our aim is to offer up prayer, cast vision and raise funds to see regular Christ-followers present in high-needs neighbourhoods globally. Obviously, we're doing things a little differently this year because of COVID-19, so we needed to #reroute. We will being doing it with physical distancing with PPEs and even possibly virtually.

Location: Scarborough, Ontario, Canada Route: 6.4 km Time: 1:00 PM (TBD)

This is a route that is close to the patch where the movement began. There are still several patches near Teesdale that don't have any MoveIn-ers living in them. Along this route, we will pray for patches such as Goodwood, Denton and for the first time...the Cataraqui-Firvalley-Leyton Toronto Community Housing neighbourhoods...where Chantelle Naredo and I moved into. These neighbourhoods are home to many newcomers to Canada as well as low-income families. We will also pray for many of the local schools and community centres. We will take time to pray for Cresent Town as we walk by and perhaps offer a wave to Teesdale from a distance. This route also walks along Danforth where there are many locally owned businesses, a mosque and a community centre.
