REPRESENTATION: REFLECTING THE LIGHT TO THE NEXT & NOW GENERATION

Representation is about more than being seen, it’s about being heard and showing the next and now generation what’s possible. I am super humbled and grateful to @RepresentASIANproject™ for the space to share my journey, my #FilipinoHeritage 🇵🇭, and my heart for community impact.

For many years, the mission has always been driven by the belief that there is a purpose for us that is #GreaterThanTheGame. Basketball is the vessel I’ve been blessed with to break barriers and build bridges in our city and beyond. My faith serves as the foundation of everything I do; He calls me to lead with a servant heart for the athletes, families, teams, coaches and leaders in our community—including the incredible girls and women I’ve had the privilege to coach on this National Girls and Women in Sports Day. #NGWSD

Reflecting on this journey reminds me that our visibility matters. This story belongs to every athlete I’ve coached and every leader I’ve worked alongside. My hope is to not simply be a spotlight standing alone but a mirror that reflects the light back onto our community…letting that light shine so that others might see the good work being done together. It is a privilege to represent us as we continue building something lasting, together.
