Let's Proclaim June as Filipino Heritage Month in Ontario!

"We asked the Filipino community what proclaiming the month of June as Filipino Heritage Month would mean to them. Thank you to everyone who shared their heartfelt messages with us! It could not be more clear how much the Filipino community adds to the fabric of this community and province and how this recognition is crucial for current and future generations of Filipinos.

We are looking forward to the debate in the Legislature today. Let’s keep up the momentum.

This is the fourth time this bill (Bill 217) has been brought forward, let’s officially make this law and recognize the immense contributions and efforts of the Filipino community across Ontario!"
