The Trophy Arrived. The Greater Story Continues.

The Toronto Raptors Jr. NBA Community Coach of the Year trophy is finally here! 🏆

A meaningful reminder of the relationships, opportunities & people God has brought into my life through coaching.

And what a blessing to see another chapter begin as Greater Than The Game (GTTG) officially launched Season 1 on October 24! 🎉

Over 30 children & youth registered from different schools, churches & communities across Malvern & Scarborough, with even more players & coaches expected to join as their competitive sports & work seasons wrap up!

JUNIORS:

Kids who didn’t want to leave. Parents grateful for some much-needed respite. And what an unexpected encouragement when some youth personally approached us after our 𝘏𝘢𝘭𝘧𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘏𝘶𝘥𝘥𝘭𝘦 to share how much they appreciated hearing God’s Word & praying together that day!

SENIORS:

•

•

•

Equally encouraged by the opportunity to pray over a fellow coach after the program, lifting up what they’re navigating in life beyond the court. 🙏🏽

𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀. 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀. 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀. 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆. ☝🏽

Grateful for every coach, volunteer, sponsor & supporter! From local churches & neighbouring plaza businesses helping spread the word & connecting us with volunteers…to generous supporters helping subsidize registration costs & compensate our young community coaches, it’s a beautiful reminder of what we can accomplish together. 🫱🏽‍🫲🏾
