This is a big year for us at UrbanPromise Toronto!
In 1998, we set out to reach children in Toronto Community Housing with the love of Jesus and raise them into leaders who restore their own communities and beyond. In 25 years, we’ve reached over 3,850 children and raised over 480 young leaders, many of whom are still invested in their community and have careers in fields such as software engineering, medical, educational, spiritual, creative arts and more.
We are thrilled to announce that we at UrbanPromise Toronto will celebrate this milestone with a special event – A Night of Promise.
A Night of Promise will be held on Thursday, May 4th, 2023 for 6 PM at Scarborough Convention Centre (20 Torham Place, Scarborough). It will celebrate our impact on Toronto Community Housing neighbourhoods over the past 25 years and our Executive Director, Shawn James, will share his vision for the future. Guests will enjoy a four-course meal, music & entertainment and hear stories from alumni & current program participants.
We look forward to celebrating this milestone with our donors, supporters, and our community partners & members.
We would be honoured to have you all be a part of it. Are you open to sponsoring a table and inviting other community members to join you at this event? Early bird tickets are already available for purchase.
An event table is $720 ($90/pp) and in exchange for the sponsorship, we will have your names on the table and you will receive recognition at the event. (Also, if you contact our front office, there are other options listed under our ‘Sponsorship Opportunities’ document if you or someone else you may know might be interested.)
