Small Group
Tonight (Friday, April 24, 2020), I will be leading a group of committed believers who have been baptized and are multiplying disciples in our Toronto Community Housing neighbourhood of Oakridge.
It has been very difficult to partner with many past and present church planters as well as giving them the funds and means to travel to any church community away from their own local community.
Other than the rare carpool with a relative or friend, one time or monthly donations, even had a member of Morningstar Christian Fellowship donate a full van with 1-2 years worth of car insurance paid for...we praise God that fruit came out of it!
However, my heart breaks heavily for these leaders and about this constant desire and need of a growing missional church community. Tonight, we will be studying Ephesians 2:11-3:13 via RightNow Media and some of the questions I will be asking are:
How involved should we be in the church?
What does a healthy church look like?
What does a healthy church do?
Please pray for trust, wisdom and for quality discussion. Pray against worry and fear. Pray for our hearts to be continually renewed for Jesus with the passion to evangelize and disciple our neighbours. Please pray for our community of faith leaders.
