Multiply the Impact...become my Promise Partner!

Recently, I lost my biggest financial support from one of my churches because of a new mission/vision and budget. I pray that they will succeed in God's focused calling on them to plant more churches/lighthouses. I have lost several old Promise Partners over the past couple of years because of life circumstances like family loss and additions, moving away, job transitions, family...all good and legitimate reasons. I pray for their many changes and for all of them to continue seeking Jesus first on their new journeys. And yet, God still provides through unexpected and unlikely heroes of mine.

I just want to thank God for these four specific people:

• Siu Han Kwan (not pictured)

At one point in their lives, I remember being...their support...their hero...their leader; I was either their Summer Camp coach/counsellor, a Jr. High Ministry Director or Ministry (Site-)Supervisor. I still am but before all this, I had the privilege of seeing one come to know Jesus Christ, another being baptized and all of them being given several opportunities to be equipped and grow using their gifts of leadership for God's glory.

Time passed and now they have joined my team becoming my newest Promise Partners! By supporting and partnering with me, they have a direct and multiplying impact on the ministry God has called me to. It impacts my marriage, my teams, our kids/youth, their families, their Toronto Community Housing communities, the growing and fruitful opportunities to share God's Love and Truth and so much more!

I praise God for the four of you, for sharing in this opportunity with me to influence the lives of many of God's people. #MayThe4thBeWithYou

"We’re celebrating 20 years of ministry with 100 new Promise Partners. As we look toward the next 20 years, we know that committed partners are a vital resource. The word Promise is defined as “a commitment which causes hope, expectation and assurance.” When you become a Promise Partner you provide stable funding for After School Program and seasonal camps. You allow children the freedom to play, learn and have fun. As they are nurtured and protected in a safe and caring environment, children grow in areas of spiritual awareness, academic achievement and respect for self and others. You also provide us with the freedom to spend less time on fundraising, and more time on reaching children with the love of Jesus. Promise Partners multiply the impact. We’re asking for $36 a month. $36 represents the hours of 3-6pm, when children in Toronto Community Housing are the most vulnerable. It also costs us about $36 per child, per month to run After School Program.
